Sunburst
Overview
The Sunburst extension for Qlik Sense visualizes hierarchical data using concentric rings and slices, where each level of the hierarchy is represented by a ring. The size of each slice corresponds to its measure value, allowing users to understand proportions and relationships across multiple levels. It’s a visually engaging way to explore hierarchical structures such as categories, organizations, or regions.
Key Features
• Multi-Level Hierarchies – Add two or more dimensions to represent different hierarchy levels, from top to bottom.
• Dynamic Slice Sizing – Slice size is determined by measure values, showing each level’s contribution to the total.
• Color Customization – Apply color schemes by level, parent, or expression for visual distinction and clarity.
• Inner Radius and Center Content – Adjust the inner radius and optionally place custom content or KPIs in the center area.
• Labels and Tooltips – Configure text labels, combine dimensions and measures, and create HTML-based tooltips for context.
• Interactive Drill-Down – Click to explore deeper levels or collapse back up, making it easy to focus on specific branches.
